Did you notices how many workers are assigned per work-cell? Less people and more automation = cheaper operating cost on the long run, better quality, reliability, repeatability, etc... I have always been amazed by the work-ethics, how thorough Germans are and their education system. I read some where the average college graduate in US has an educational equivalence of a German high school graduate.
