This Film was made for my one criminal justice class about the effects of Post Traumatic Stress on soldiers. I am an aspiring film maker who unfortunatly cannot afford film school so it would mean a great deal if you could please leave comments so I know what to improve on and what you like. I am also in the military so if any soldiers watch this I would love to hear your stories VIA youtube messeges and any comments you may have. If anyone has any ideas for films please send me a messege on youtube and I will try my best to create what you are looking for. Thanks and enjoy.

You wouldnt and couldnt be shit without logistics/medics/artillery/aviation etc. No wonder your an 11B, probably the only MOS you could qualify for. With an ignorance like that im not too surprised at your comment. My grandfather was a medic in Bastogne, He still has nightmares. You should be absolutly ashamed of yourself. Especially if you are a veteran which i doubt you are with that attitud

@whiteblazejunky The point i'm trying to get across is that people use "PTSD" as a reason. A mans mind is able to handle more then was most people give it credit too and when they "can't handle" something, they look for answers. That's a load of crap dude, people just need to have a little more self pride and deal with it. People use PTSD as a right of passage for serving like it's proof that they fought. Just keep it inside, stop feeling sorry for yourself, and move the fuck out.

@RankCanBleedToo Yeah sure, you're ignorant. I dont know anybody that uses it as an "excuse". Two friends of mine that were almost killed in an ied blast in rhiad, have hallucinations, nighmares and the rest of the symptoms that go along with it. They dont feel sorry for themsolves, and everyday is a struggle for vets like them, and me. Grow up and stop using profanity to try and get your point across. BTW when was the last time you were shot, or blown up? Taken POW? Didnt think so.

I have Combat induced PTSD .
The scenes evoke an anxious response while at the same time hope that others may understand what the trauma war can be like.
If others of you are thinking about this, wrestling thoughts surrounding this subject or triggered by these images.
know that you are not alone. I won't go into detail what vulnerable-preemptive/defensive thoughts I have( explaining it can seem to cause anxiety)
I can mange my anxiety / stress reaction well & believe that you can to.

"Move-out!" -Drive on- I get that piece, and I can and will facing the stress anxiety (for whatever reason) that is termed PTSD today in my life was enough of a bug to cause heavy drinking, violence, tumultuous relationships, and a lifestyle that was counter productive to me and my loved ones.

A lot of upset ppl here in this first page of comments. PTSD is alive in many war vets. Especially those of us in the earlier periods. Brothers in arms , please do not fight amongst yourselves.... @RankCanBleedToo Yes and as a 19D (Cavalry Scout) we do as much as you do, if not better, and are able to adapt to different situation. I still have to say 88m is a pretty dangerous job. I dont understand all this arguing, We signed up for different reasons, but are all commanded to complete the same overall mission. Just because you are able the speak out with the last bit of freedom you have left, doesnt mean anyone wants to hear it. 11b is an undisciplined rag tag group of citizen soldiers.

Alot of people here talking about different MOS's and which ones go through the most shit, not that it matters to me; we're ALL in the same boat... we just have different tasks at hand.
The one MOS I would hate being the most is 68W

Im a machine gunner in the marines. I may not have seen as much as others. But i lost and seen enough. I was in denial of PTSD, until i lost my girl, i assualted my sister, forced into rehab, and the list go's on. its not easy, but tis harder when you dont do anything or show hate or dont even care. But just remember, casue people like me, you hate talk all you want even hate us for what ever reason and in the end, your welcome. you didnt sacrifice anthing. so how can you talk.
