President Obama has committed 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan. This decision raises serious questions about troops, costs, overall mission, and exit strategy. Historically, it has been Congress' duty to ask questions in the form of oversight hearings that challenge policymakers, examine military spending, and educate the public. After witnessing the absence of oversight regarding the Iraq war, we must insist Congress hold hearings on Afghanistan.

yes i know that, i was just making the point you can't 'choose' which science to believe in and to use. Science goes on empirical evidence, religion doesn't. To reject evolution which is were the evidence leads to, then that is just ignorance. Put dogmatic religious people are.

There is overwhelming evidence that evolution is true. Fossil records, anomatical similarities between life forms. And there is just so much evidence against Creationist theory.
