War veterans make up almost a quarter of the homeless population in the United States.
The US Department of Veteran Affairs estimates that about 30,000 of those are veterans from the Iraq War.
Al Jazeera's Sebastian Walker reports there is growing concern that they are facing a more serious post traumatic stress disorder symptoms than those who served in the Vietnam War.

Respect has to be earned, it is not something that is given freely. And some people (ie: Easily led sheeple) dont deserve any more respect than i would give a severely dumb animal.

"we" is the people who started the war, the elite, who have it. the soldiers don't get it, but the rich people who sent them there, they get the oil. we also have the pipeline in afghanistan, that sends oil from the middle east, to russia and china.
we control who's "allowed" to be voted into iraqi government. if the people vote for an anti-american president, we don't allow it. that's not democracy. we haven't even given them democracy.
the Vietnam war knocked the US dollar off of the gold backing
this war will leave the American middle class
in Barrio in the third world.
In the end America will lose this war like they lost in Vietnam .
It is too bad that the lessons of history is too painful for America to look at let alone learn from.Perhaps this is the reason for the war to bring America down into the third world.
